Coleman to come on as the leader of the Osbourn Park Boys Basketball program
Osbourn Park High School is pleased to announce Coach Jeremy Colman as the new Head Coach of the Boys Basketball program.
Jeremy Coleman, a graduate of James Madison University, will be entering his 1st Season as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Osbourn Park High School, after a successful 7-year run as the Associate Head Coach of Battlefield High School in Haymarket, VA. Jeremy also served as a Men's Assistant Basketball Coach at Hagerstown Community College for one year during the 2015-2016 season. During his tenure at Battlefield, the team found great success in achieving 3 Cedar Run Conference Championships, 2 - 6A Northern Region Championships, 4 trips to the Virginia State Tournament and numerous top 10 finishes to include a Washington Post Top 20 finish in 2018.
Having played his high school basketball in Southwest Virginia at Abingdon High School, Coach Coleman began his coaching career in the Central Loudoun Youth Basketball League before serving as the Head Freshman and Varsity Assistant at Oakton High School in Vienna, VA.
Coach Coleman's philosophy is centered around teaching, development and growth and believes that by building a culture of Competitive Excellence fueled by Faith, Trust and Accountability success can once again be found in the Osbourn Park Basketball Program.
Coach Coleman has already hit the ground running providing input into both the upcoming season's schedule and working on plans for a summer skills development camp for rising 5th -8th grade boys in mid July.
